Q: How long do I get to keep the rental?
A: Rentals are due when the semester ends. The last day of finals is usually when they are due.
Q: Do you have any book sales?
A: Yes, our Spring 2021 Sale will be 15% off Rentals only and on Jan. 2nd and 3rd.
Q: I won't have my money to pay for the books until schools starts, what should I do?
A: No problem, we have a no-cost Rent Now Pay Later program that you can use on our website at checkout or just bring in your ID and debit/credit card when you pick up your books. We'll charge the card on the agreed upon date for the current semester, generally when the school disperses Financial Aid funds. Click this link for more information: Deferment Program
Q: I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need them. Why should I rent?
A: We have a no-risk rental which means your full rental price can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book at the end of the semester. Renting books is cheaper than buying, but if you decide you would like to keep the book then you can buy it by paying the difference!
Q: What if I end up not needing a book?
A: You can return your books for a full refund within the first week of classes. Books must be returned in the same condition they were rented in, and payment will be returned to the original payment method. We try to follow what ATU does with their drop class refund. After a certain date, the refund will be less and less. If you do drop your class, please bring in your proof of drop from the registrar.
Q: What are your hours for the first week of classes?
A: Our normal business hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. During the first two weeks of school, we'll have extended hours.
Q: What if I damage my book?
A: Hey, it happens! Light damage on books is acceptable (highlighting, bent corners, etc). For light damage, our damage fee starts at $10. If the book is too damaged (stained, torn, water-damaged, pages ripped out, smoke damage, etc...) we will charge your account for the price of the book minus what you’ve already paid for the rental, so you’re just paying the difference. The book is then yours to keep!
